Our Story

Greenwood Baptist Church was established in 1892 as a church plant from First Baptist Church of Weatherford. What began as a small gathering of believers in the Greenwood community has grown into a vibrant ministry. Over the years, God has used the people of Greenwood Baptist to share the good news of Jesus—spreading His love not only throughout Texas and the United States but to nations around the world.
