Kindness Outreach Training

Here at Greenwood, we feel called to help other churches get outside of their four walls and show God’s love in practical ways that can lead to Gospel conversations. We offer three different trainings to churches, pastors, and/or leaders: Online, We come to you, You come to us.

Online:

 Our online training is called The Kindness Cohort. The Kindness Cohort is a 4 week cohort that meets 1 time a week for 45 minutes via zoom. The cohort can include pastors, leaders, or the entire church.

The primary goal is to give those that are a part of the cohort tools, vision, and inspiration to engage their community in a way that makes sense in their context. Each of the 4 sessions consists of teaching for 20-25 minutes, taking questions for 10 minutes, and having “small group” discussion for 10 minutes.

 We Come to You:

We offer Kindness Outreach training where we send a team to your church to do a KindNess Explosion Weekend. This can consist of training, actual outreaches, preaching, or a mix of all the above.

4 Kindness Explosion Options:

Kindness Explosion

Gather Church on a Saturday at 10am* for example (can be changed to best meet schedule of church) with a 15 minute quick speaking/training time. Go out and serve the community, doing various Kindness Outreaches. Meet back at church or park for a “Download” time where we eat lunch together and share about what we saw God do.

Kindness Explosion PLUS +

This option includes the Saturday Kindness Explosion* and adds a Sunday morning message, that is about Kindness Outreach, that is preached at your Sunday gathering.

Kindness Explosion MAX

This option includes the Kindness Explosion, The Sunday Sermon, and adds a more in depth training with staff members, ministry leaders, or the entire church before or after the Kindness Explosion. An example of this would be a 2 hour* training on a Friday* or even on a Saturday/Sunday* after the Kindness Explosion/sermon.

You Come to Us:

Come visit us on a Kindness Outreach weekend and experience it for yourself! Typically this looks like leaders coming to Weatherford on a Tuesday or Friday, us meeting with them the night before the Kindness Outreach and then they join in on and experience our church’s Kindness Outreach on Saturday in person.
