Missions Prayer

 

Mission TOGO: JANUARY 17-28, 2026

  • The Mission Togo Team: Brooklyn Hatchell, Carrie Bond, Evan Wiebenga, Gary Cooper, Jon Hartman, Keith Gilbert, Kevin Edwards, Lindsey Aldrich, Megan Allison, Pam Pearson, Rachel Allison, Tammi Gilbert, Tammy Unangst
  • January 17-18: Safe traveling to Togo (Dallas to Paris – then Paris to Togo) and quick acclimation for the team
  • January 19: Team will spend the morning with the children of Bon Serviteur, then participate in the Prisca Peace Project (3P) Ceremony for 10 women of Bon Serviteur who are receiving initial loans, followed by purchasing from active 3P Women businesses the local items needed for door-to-door evangelism visits
  • January 20 morning: Team will visit the 5 schools where Greenwood families sponsor children; they will play games, give items for the children and schools, and share the gospel
  • Boldness: Pray that the team would have boldness from the Holy Spirit as they take the gospel to the people in the villages of Nouwouzan Cope (a new church plant area) and Adetikope/near Bon Serviteur (Church of the Good Servant)
  • Softened and receptive hearts: Pray for the people in the villages of Nouwouzan Cope and Adetikope to hear and receive the gospel
  • January 20 afternoon: Door-to-door in Adetikope, sharing the gospel with kindness outreach
  • January 21 morning: Prayer walking in Nouwouzan Cope and then participate in the Prisca Peace Project (3P) Ceremony for 10 women of Nouwouzan Cope who are receiving initial loans
  • January 21 afternoon: Door-to-door in Nouwouzan Cope
  • January 22 Door-to-door in Nouwouzan Cope (morning) and in Adetikope (afternoon)
  • January 23: Team will experience a day of Togolese culture and encouraging the Le Pont International staff
  • January 24: Day Camp for Children at Bon Serviteur - Expecting 300 children from the village of Adetikope; pray for children (some parents may also attend) to hear the gospel, understand how much God loves them, and trust Christ as Savior (over 25 prayed to trust Christ at the June 2025 Day Camp)
  • January 25 Team will participate and share in worship at 3 churches – Bon Serviteur, Nissi and Nouwouzan Cope; Jon Hartman will at Nouwouzan Cope
  • January 26 Pastors and Pastors’ Wives Conferences: Pray for the team as they encourage and provide training for the pastors and pastors’ wives, and that the pastors and pastors’ wives will leave refreshed with new ministry tools as they serve in Togo
  • January 27: Team will spend the day working on projects at the Baptist Seminary before a late evening flight
  • January 27-28: Safe return trip to Texas (Togo to Paris – then Paris to Detroit - then Dallas to Detriot)
